Jennifer's Dream
For my power point presentation I wrote my own Grimm fairy tale named Jennifer's Dream. Grimm fairy tales are originally made for older children but my fairy tale is for all ages. I chose to write a story of my own because all of the Grimm fairy tales are gruesome and I wanted children to see this story and know that this story compared to the Grimm fairy tales was okay to read. I mean there are parts of cruel treatment like the last paragraph, but besides the last paragraph its everyones dream to find the meanings of freedom and fun. I also wanted to write this story to show that a lot of people like me do not have a lot of freedom and fun in their lives, and to know that the girl Jennifer did not have freedom either; she used her dreams. Dreams are always possible if you follow them. That's why I wrote this to show that all dreams are possible if you follow your heart.
Jennifer's Dream is about a girl named Jennifer who granted every single wish, even the ones she did not want to grant because she was a fairy. Jennifer was not allowed to leave her room because her parents thought she would go out to grant every wish. One day Jennifer dreamt of going outside and the door opened and she ran out. The door locked behind her saying she was not allowed back into her house until she found the true meanings of freedom and fun. Years go by, and she still has not found the meanings of freedom or fun, so she wished for friends. Plutonium Ville appeared and she walked in to find 8 friends, five were boys and three were girls. One of her friends said she found the meanings of freedom and fun. Her alarm clock then went off, she woke up, and she was on her way to live her adventure of a dream.

The way Grimm Fairy tales differ from regular fairy tales
The next power point I did was a collage of pictures from the Grimm fairy tales of The Little Red Cap, Hansel and Grethel, Cinderella, The Seven Ravens, Rumpelstiltskin, Bearskin, Beauty and the Beast, and The Frog Prince. I created this power point to show how the Grimm versions of fairy tales differ from regular fairy tales. I also made this powerpoint to show how scary the Grimm fairy tales are compared to regular fairy tales by just looking at the pictures. This power point is created to look at a picture and create your own story by the way the characters look in the picture, and how you think they feel in the picture.
For example: in The Little Red Cap, Little Red Riding Hood is walking through a mysterious, creepy forest where the wolfs shadow is lurking over and watching her. These photos taken from the Grimm version of LIttle Red Cap represents fear, anger, pride, and insecurity. I feel these pictures represent fear, anger, pride, and insecurity by the way the pictures are presented. In the first picture for example, Little Red Riding Hood looks like she is in fear and insecure for being in the woods because she does not know what is out there watching her from afar; while the wolf lurks with pride and by the way his body and eye glows the wolf looks angry. You can tell a story in your own point of view by looking at these pictures.

Theory of a grimm
The last power point I created was based on the theory of the Grimm Brothers. I did this power point to show and tell what a Grimm is and the story behind a Grimm. I think the theory of the Grimm Brothers is important for people to know because if you go to watch the television show Grimm for example, you need to know what is happening before you see what happens so yuo can understand it. The theory of the Grimm Borthers makes you understand everything and why it is happening. It is also helpful to know how they came up with the books, and what happened after they came up woth the books.
